Sailzane(セイルザーン) is the name of the greatest desert zone of Tal during the New Age. Colvilous saltlake and Gold Ring city are located on the center of Sailzane, Nev Mountains on the west, Lyvank Mountains and Magoe forest on the east.
Compared to grasslands or woods, very few living organisms populate the desert and among them can be found huge and monstrous creatures, such as "Shiniku-asari(Carrion eater, or Scavenger)", land worms, small leeches, and "Koyubigai(Little finger shellfish)". See also:Tal's Primitive Creatures.
"Sailzane" means "the white sea" in local language. Colors of rock and sand are almost identical to white. And soil includes salts in underground.
